This is a high quality Archival Print of my original watercolour painting "Moon Song".
I started this piece at the Port Moody Art Crawl. With so many visitors it was hard to concentrate and finish it on spot. I took some time to reflect and ponder on what this artwork means to me. Wolves are among the most interesting animals because of their social rules of the wolf pack. In a pack, only the dominant (alpha) male and female mate and have offspring. The rest help to take care of the pups. They play all the time, learning skills and developing their bodies. I was going through the similar stage with my son at the time. It’s funny to watch how little ones try to repeat everything that adults do, and here we are witnessing the scene where mama wolf is teaching her pups to sing a moon song in a deep howl.
