“Libelle” Dragonfly – with an inspiration from one of my stockists from California I’ve got an idea to create a bright summery artwork to add more colour into our lives. The name for this piece came to me easily. My school in Russia (from grade 1 to 11) had a German background. There were groups of students coming all the way from Germany to Siberia to learn Russian language and culture, exchange ideas and just have fun with kids from another country. There also was a girl only musical band in my school called “Libelle”. I still remember the girls and their pure beautiful voices. Hopefully you can hear their melodies when you look at my “Libelle”.
Comes complete with signature on the front.
