"Alan" Vancouver Island Marmot Watercolor Art Print | Elena Markelova
This is a high quality art print of my original watercolour painting “Alan” Vancouver Island Marmot - The Vancouver Island marmot is one of the rarest mammals in the world. Thanks to recent recovery efforts, the population has increased from a low count in 2003 of less than 30 wild marmots living in a handful of colonies to just over 200 marmots on over more than 20 mountains in 2019. I’ve created this artwork in hope to raise funds for Marmot Recovery Foundation to save these cute fluffy animals. They symbolize a deep connection with earth and nature, grounding, and establishing sacred space. And I hope that together we can make a substantial difference to the marmot population in the mountains of Vancouver Island.
Comes complete with signature on the front.
My art prints are high quality and are professionally printed with archival pigment inks on a heavy weight, acid free paper very similar to watercolour paper.
